ManyDays stores the few things it needs to show you a number: your email address, your name, your date of birth, the horizon you chose, and the goals you write down. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared for advertising, and there is no profiling.

Email address. It identifies your account and receives your sign-in link and your reminders. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Name, date of birth, horizon, counting mode, time zone. These produce the number and decide when a reminder is sent. The date of birth is used for the days you have lived and the progress line; it is never shared. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your goals. Free text you write yourself. Please do not put anything in there that you would not want stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

A copy of each reminder sent to you. So you can see what was sent and so the same mail is not sent twice. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a mail system that works.

Error reports. When something breaks, a technical report is created. It can contain your IP address and which page failed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a service that works.

Usage statistics. Which pages get used, and session recordings that show how the interface is used. Only after you agree. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.

Sign-in uses a cookie that keeps you logged in. It is technically necessary and set without consent, because without it there is no way to stay signed in.

Usage statistics use additional storage in your browser. Nothing of that is loaded before you agree, and declining costs you no functionality.

These services are used to run ManyDays. Each is bound by a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

Where a provider processes data outside the EU, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your account data stays until you delete your account. Sent reminders are kept for two years so you can look back at them. Error reports are deleted after 90 days. Usage statistics are deleted after twelve months.

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, have its use restricted, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. One email to contact@manydays.app is enough.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For Berlin that is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Write to contact@manydays.app and everything is removed: profile, settings, goals and mail history. There is no copy kept beyond what backups hold for a short period.
